Two new detached dwellings to replace a small detached bungalow and garage on a large plot at the foot of the Chiltern escarpment.

Carroll Architects and Surveyors provided development appraisal advice to the developer/client and obtained planning permission following negotiations to address considerable concern from neighbours. Partly in response to these concerns, each building has a large basement accommodating parking and service spaces. The completed scheme has been generally well received, to the extent that the scheme has been replicated on an adjoining plot.
