LAND AT FERRY LANE, MOULSFORD

New build detached house in a stunning location overlooking the Thames.  The client previously had difficulties gaining planning approval. Carroll Architects and Surveyors nonetheless successfully obtained consent for a substantial 5 bedroom  property. Although of a traditional aesthetic, the building is being constructed using highly sustainable modern, off site Hempcrete timber framed construction which will create a very efficient, comfortable home, at a comparable price to traditional construction methods.  The thermal performance is controlled through a mechanical ventilation and heat recovery system plus underfloor heating.

Following planning we produced tender and outline construction packages, and have now passed the project over to the main contractor who is completing the project on a design and build contract.
